Awards Evening

Congratulations to Suryaansh Mishra (Yr 13) and Vridhi Takkar (Year 13), who were officially recognised for their achievements at an Awards ceremony, held last night.

The event, hosted by Auckland Council and Welcoming Communities, celebrated high-achieving Auckland secondary students from diverse ethnic backgrounds.

In partnership with Auckland Council and ARCC (Aotearoa Resettled Community), the Ministry of Education’s Community Partnerships team invited Green Bay High School to participate in the 2026 Academic Awards Night (30 April 2026).

More than 22 schools took part in the event, making it a meaningful occasion that highlighted student achievement, resilience, and the value of community support.

Our nominated students and their families, along with their teachers, had the opportunity to share in this special celebration of excellence.

The evening featured inspiring speeches from the key speakers and created a warm, uplifting atmosphere of celebration and pride.
