40Hr Detox + more!

This weekend, a group of GBHS students is embracing this year's 40Hour Challenge by taking social action and raising awareness for communities in the Solomon Islands.
From baking up a storm for today's lunchtime Bake Sale (with all proceeds going to World Vision) to giving up their weekend comforts and taking on unique challenges, the school community is showing incredible commitment and creativity.
Challenges range from teacher, Mr Brent Ericson and a student walking an impressive 40 kilometres within 40 hours to groups of students completing 40 dares. Some are tackling the challenge of watching 40 movies!
Whether participants choose to fundraise, advocate, or challenge themselves in unusual ways, every effort contributes to making a difference.
The 40Hour Challenge reminds us that no act of kindness is too small. Every challenge completed, every dollar raised, and every conversation started helps bring hope and support to those who need it most.
