Careers trip to Unitec Trades:

A group of Year 13 rangatahi went to Unitec's Mt Albert’s campus to visit the trades department yesterday, with GBHS's Director of Vocational Pathways Catrin Hughes, and Careers Counsellor Amber Margan.

Students were greeted by lecturer Bryan Davis and took part in a very informative tour capturing a wide range of engineering, plumbing, gas and drain laying, painting and decorating, electrical engineering and automotive engineering.

This experience was a good opportunity for students to see current Unitec students hard at work.
