Rookie of The Year

Congratulations to Lucas Whitehouse (Year 10) who was recently awarded ROOKIE OF THE YEAR at the Piha Surf Life Saving Club prize-giving.

Lucas began training at PSLC since the ripe old age of 7 years old (!) and loves every minute of it.

Having completed the Life Guard exam to allow Patrol support, and with the Rookies programme now under his belt, Lucas is well on the way to becoming a qualified lifeguard.

Awesome work, Lucas!

Green Bay High School is also pleased to share Piha Surf Life Saving Club news and congratulate Isaac Gear (Year 13) and past pupil Olivia Tukia (2020 - 2024) on their successful selection into the New Zealand Team competing in the Battle of the Tasman in the Gold Coast in August!
