Cultural exchange and language practice:

A talented group of Argentinian Handball players visited Green Bay High School yesterday (Thursday 8 May) to spend an hour with our Year 11 Spanish class.

Students were treated to a hands-on lesson on the skills needed to play Handball as the Argentinian players introduced some basic techniques and vocabulary in Spanish. This was a fantastic opportunity for students to engage in physical activity while practicing their language skills.

After testing out their new skills and drills, students and the visiting players sat down together to enjoy a shared lunch. This allowed for relaxed conversations, fostering cultural exchange and language practice.
