GBHS Career Chats, with Guest Speakers:
It's great to hear from past pupils who say GBHS still holds a special place in their hearts - and our Careers Dept are happy to tap into such positive and valuable resources!
Today's speaker was ex-student Bruce Norton (2016 - 2020) who came in to discuss his exciting career in paramedicine.
It is also great to involve local business owners as Kawhe & Kōrero guest speakers. Last week, GBHS students were very interested in hearing from local physiotherapist Angela Moore, owner of Moore Than Just Physio in Glen Eden, who discussed her varied career working as a physio with top sports teams both here and overseas.
GBHS's weekly 'Kawhe Korero' sessions are held each Tuesday lunchtime in H12! Students have the opportunity to ask real questions and have them answered by real people in the industry.
