Our school whanau has students and staff from over 80 different ethnicities represented here at GBHS!
To celebrate this fabulous melting pot of cultures, we have organised our first ever Cultural Week, to acknowledge all of our school's diverse cultures by creating an environment where all students feel a sense of belonging and connectedness.
Throughout the week there will be displays, quizzes, food, music and performances to celebrate all cultures at GBHS. Check the Daily Notices for updates!
- MONDAY - Form time quiz
- TUESDAY - Cultural performances in the auditorium (lunchtime)
- WEDNESDAY - Scavenger hunt, henna painting and Cook Island 'tattoos' in the audi foyer. Junior Languages Art display in L Block 4- 6pm
- THURSDAY - Volleyball in the gym at lunchtime
- FRIDAY - Students are invited to wear formal cultural dress (Please note: this is NOT a NON uniform day)

- Friday Food Sale - food from different cultures will be for sale, for a gold coin donation (funds go to Cultural Week 2026).
