GBHS’s Language students competed in the Education Perfect Language Championships recently - an international platform where learners test their vocabulary knowledge.
Students earn points by completing language tasks and quizzes, competing not only against their classmates but also with students from all over the world.
We are very proud of the effort and enthusiasm of our students - well done to everyone who took part!
Green Bay High School was placed 8th overall in New Zealand (out of 443 NZ schools entered), and 31st overall globally (out of 1,804 schools nationwide).
A collaborative effort of student success saw GBHS placing 1st in German, 4th in Spanish, 11th in Japanese.
Congratulations to all students who gained certificates. A special mention must go to the following top-ranking GBHS students:
- Krisha Karippail: Elite Award. Score: 10,073. Ranking 152nd (worldwide)
