Discovery Concert - APO

GBHS's Chamber Music course aims to develop students' musical and social skills, composing music for a small group of instruments in a fun learning setting.

Earlier this week, Tuesday 20 May, GBHS's Year 10 Music and Chamber Music students attended the Auckland Philharmonia's 'Discovery Concert' at the Auckland Town Hall.

This concert is designed specifically for high school students which is highly engaging and supports their curriculum learning.

The concert was informative, impressive and participatory - students even had the opportunity to assist in creating a brand-new piece of music alongside the orchestra.

A massive thank you to the APO for their support in making this trip happen - an excellent time was had by all.
