Sport Waitākere is introducing an exciting initiative aimed at engaging Asian students in sports through a structured, fun, and inclusive program.

About the Program: “Have a Go Day”, is a weekly sports program designed to provide Year 9 Asian rangatahi with the opportunity to participate in four weeks of coached training (in Term 2) across a range of possible sport options (as per availability).

Program Duration: 4 weeks per school Start Date: Early Term 2, 2025 Frequency: One session per week Session Length: Approximately 40-50 Minutes When: During the school lunchtime (and/or) after school Venue: At school (gym or suitable indoor/outdoor space)
