GBHS Year 9 Rounders Day Tournament 2025:

On Wednesday, 26th March, Year 9 students at GBHS took part in the much-anticipated Rounders' Day Tournament.

The event was not only a thrilling display of sportsmanship and competition but also served as a key assessment for Term 1, focusing on the development of interpersonal skills through the context of striking and fielding. These skills included supporting and encouraging others, active listening, cooperation and teamwork, and respect for diversity.

Students demonstrated outstanding teamwork and enthusiasm throughout the tournament, showing great cooperation, strategic play, and encouragement for one another. Their energy and sportsmanship made for an exciting and enjoyable experience, fostering a strong sense of community among Year 9 students.
