Yearbook Japanese Student Visitors at GBHS
This week, on Tuesday and Thursday, Green Bay High School had the pleasure of hosting 36 students from Yearbook, Japan, accompanied by three teachers.
Visiting students had the opportunity to experience a typical school day in New Zealand.
During their visit, the students participated in a class lesson, enjoyed lunch with local students, and had the chance to try some classic Kiwi treat, such as Hokey Pokey ice cream and red kiwifruit.
They also attended a presentation with our International Director, Carla Lambert, and toured the school, getting a glimpse into life at Green Bay High School.
This visit provided a fantastic opportunity for the Japanese students to practice their English and connect with both local and international students.
We hope to see some of them return in the future and wish them all the best for the rest of their time in New Zealand!
