Green and Blue Leadership

Tuesday, 8th April 2025 at 11:50am

Students from the 2024 and 2025 Blues Charitable Trust (leadership programme) represented their schools and the Trust by sitting together in a dedicated student section at the Blues vs Hurricanes Charity Match at Eden Park on Saturday 5 April - proudly wearing school uniform as part of a powerful show of community pride and support.

This was a special opportunity for Green Bay High School to be part of a televised event showcasing the positive impact of rangatahi leadership across the Blues region.

Check out The Blues official BCT promo HERE - featuring our very own leaders of the future!

As part of the Blues Charitable Trust (BCT) players are becoming mentors, providing rangatahi with leadership coaching to help them reach their full potential.

This year, a select group of Year 12 students are taking part in a four-week leadership programme, each Thursday, directly engaging with Blues players sharing inspirational stories of leadership, resilience, and overcoming challenges.

Modules being offered include: Leading Self and the Power of Belonging, Great Leadership and Overcoming Challenges, Leading Career Pathways, Leadership and Wellbeing, Leading Others, High Performing Teams, and Servant Leadership.
