GBHS has archers competing in 3 different disciplines - compound bow, recurve and barebow.

Yesterday's weather conditions made it a challenging day, with very stiff winds at Cornwall Park and very hot temperatures at Mountain Green.

Our school's team of compound and recurve archers shoot at Auckland Archery Club at Cornwall Park, while our barebow team shoots at Mountain Green Archery Club on Mt Albert.

• Jesse Matheson (Yr 11) shoots Compound (competed as an individual).
• Isaac Beech (Yr 9), Fern Burley (Yr 12), Ethan Winson (Yr 12) shoot Recurve. • Leo Ferguson (Yr 9), Nathan Bennett (Yr 10) shoot Barebow.

Latest Results: 🎯 Compound: Jesse shot a personal best today of 285. This is a very decent score!
🎯 Recurve team: Ethan and Fern's individual scores were actually better than opposing teams, however, our team members were less in numbers (with 3 competing against 4) so overall team results pipped them at the post. 🎯 Barebow team: placed 2nd, missing out by just 10 points.
