Cultural Council 2025

Cultural Representation at GBHS:

GBHS's 2025 Cultural Council reps Amaria Williams (Yr 13), Benji Godsmark (Yr 12), and Rachael Stephens (Yr 12) spoke at Monday's Staff Briefing about their vision to help grow spaces within our school - where all students and staff can learn about, share, celebrate and feel proud of their cultural identity.

To help promote and include cultural representation at GBHS, the Cultural Council has put out a survey to gain an understanding of how students currently feel at school in regards to their cultural identity.

Survey feedback will be collated and used in consideration for future events. A big piece of the council's work is to plan a Cultural Week in week 7 of Term 2 which will include, music, food and performances from our diverse community.

The survey link is available to all students and staff, via the Year level Google Classroom platform and/or email.
