RELAY FOR LIFE / BAKE SALE

Thank you to everyone who baked sweet (and savoury) treats for the GBHS Relay For Life bake sale, held at morning tea and lunchtime on Thursday (27 March).

Everything was $1. What a bargain. You certainly can't get delicacies like these for such a price in stores and bakeries!

Today's efforts raised over $300 going towards the team fundraising efforts for Relay For Life (NZ Cancer Society).

Having already exceeded their initial fundraising goal of $10k, the team is hoping to go the extra mile. Keeping the baton in motion throughout the 12-hour relay is a feat in itself, as well as raising funds and awareness for New Zealanders affected by cancer. All funds raised will go to the Cancer Society's supportive care services, education programmes, prevention policy, and life-saving cancer research.
