NZQA Top Art Expo

Congratulations! Stella Barry's (Year 13, 2023) Level 3 artboard has been selected for exhibition as part of the '2024 Top Art Tour'.

Organised by NZQA, the Top Art Tour showcases the best-of-the-best level 3 Visual Arts boards, with displays in a range of galleries, museums, and schools throughout the country.

This exhibition provides an opportunity for members of the public to view the high calibre of work being produced at a secondary school level and sets the standards for current Visual Arts students to see what they need to aim for, to achieve NCEA Excellence.

As part of her folio, Stella created a Graphic Novel (and related merchandise) called 'BudBuds' about three little buddies and the mischievous adventures they go on.

Stella (pictured above with Green Bay High School HOD Visual Arts, Mrs Rogan James) is looking forward to studying at Auckland University's Elam School of Fine Arts this year.
