Expensive Hobby!

The wet weather certainly didn't dampen the enthusiasm of our engineering students as they soaked up the sights and sounds of Drift car extraordinaire, Issac Aldrige, who paid us a visit - in the lead-up to a a D1NZ (National Drifting Championships) race at Hampton Downs this weekend.

Isaac (past GBHS pupil 2010-2013) who is a professional builder by day, certainly had heads turning, with his car sparking a lot of student interest. Fielding an array of questions, such as "How many tyres do you go through?" to "How much does it cost?" with the answer to both being "A lot!"

GBHS has 40 tickets to give away to the event this weekend.
