GBHS is OPEN tomorrow

Kia ora e te whānau, I’m really pleased to let you know that Green Bay High School will be open tomorrow (Wednesday 15 February). Our school site did not sustain too much damage and the school still has power. We feel really lucky to be in this position and our thoughts are with those of you who are facing more challenging circumstances and who may now be struggling with the aftermath of Cyclone Gabrielle.

BUSES AND TRANSPORT TO SCHOOL: At this stage, Ritchies believe that they should be able to provide all bus services to and from school tomorrow. The state of many roads around our zone is challenging however, and parents will need to make their own decisions on the safety of roads and footpaths used in the journey to and from school.

FORM PERIOD MOVED TO 8.40am: Students should go straight to their form-class on Wednesday morning. We’ll be checking in with all our students so that we can provide help and support to anyone who needs it.

TUCKSHOP: The tuckshop will be open at interval and lunchtime tomorrow.
