GBHS Newsletter (21 September 2023)
It’s been a fantastic final week of term, with the sun shining and lots to celebrate. I am so proud of the courageous students who took part in Shave For A Cure this week. There was a real buzz in the gym on Wednesday lunchtime as the heads were shaved….and it was a bonus having ex-student Cohen Wing on hand to finish the job professionally. It’s a charity close to my heart and I love the way the whole school community got behind the group, raising over $13,000.
It’s also been a busy term with drama, dance and music concerts, sport, and tournaments and all the activities that compliment what happens in the classroom. Our students have done a great job making the most of the opportunities on offer. Congratulations to those students who are about to receive certificates at our end of term celebration assemblies tomorrow, we are proud of you! A full list of Award recipients will be published in the first newsletter of term 4.
Term 3 ends at 3.15pm tomorrow.
Enjoy the next two weeks and see you in Term 4.
