Year 10 German language students attended the Kino Fest (German Film Festival) in Devonport earlier this week, meeting their Lynfield College penpals in person for the first time - a fantastic celebration of language learning and connection.

Students attended a screening of a German-language film as part of the Goethe-Institut German Film Festival, in Devonport's Vic Cinema, providing an authentic opportunity to experience spoken German in context, enhancing listening comprehension, vocabulary, and cultural understanding.

By engaging with contemporary German cinema, students gained insight into German society and perspectives, directly supporting the learning objectives of their German course.
