A Community of Learning

This is an exciting and invigorating time for the Kōtuitui Kāhui Ako in West Auckland!

Nine local schools, including ECE’s, Primary, Intermediate (and GBHS) came together for the inaugural Kōtuitui Kapa Haka Festival, as part of the Kōtuitui Kāhui Ako, held at Glen Eden Intermediate School yesterday. It was great to see our tamariki and rangitahi together in one place, celebrating their culture.

Green Bay High School is part of the 'Kōtuitui' Kāhui Ako'. Kōtuitui is a collaborative relationship between twelve local schools creating a learning community, placing an emphasis on the greater focus across the whole learning pathway of learners within our Kōtuitui community. Creating stronger bonds between educational contexts which will lead to greater long-term support for our learners as they transition from one learning environment to the next.

Our Community of Learning | Kāhui Ako incorporates a group of education and training providers that form around children and young people's learning pathways, and work together to help them achieve their full potential.
