GBHS Rugby Report:

Despite a tough 17-12 loss to AGS for the U85s, there was plenty to be proud of. Our defence was outstanding, showing determination, discipline and resilience under pressure. The scrum was a real weapon, consistently dominating and creating a strong attacking platform. While the result didn’t go our way, the character and belief shown by the team were clear to see.

The U60s had a tough battle ahead of them from the very first whistle, playing against Botany Downs. Although it was GBHS 7-0 at halftime, the game was tight, but a lapse in concentration and some loose tackles saw Botany suddenly out in front with a couple of quick tries after halftime.

Both GBHS rugby teams have home fixtures for the final Round-Robin games this weekend against Auckland Grammar, and it would be fantastic to finish the season on a high note. Come along and show your support!
