L1 Drama Evening

WOVEN:

For many of our Level 1 Drama students, this marked their very first experience in creating a short play from the ground up - let alone performing to whānau and friends!

It took loads of courage and they did themselves very proud.

As a class, they explored the meaning of "Woven," sharing personal stories about the people and memories that had a connection to each of them.

From those initial ideas, they then collaborated in small groups to devise, write, and refine the scripts they showcased last night.

On top of that they chose all their own costumes, lighting, sound, and set to compliment the intent they wanted the audience to take away at the end of the night.

Thank you to all those that came and supported them their first public evening.
