A warm welcome to our new Head of Music, Jae’l Warbrick. Jae’l graduated with a Bachelor of Music - Majoring in Vocals. She has many years experience both in NZ and Australia, teaching both Music and Sports. She deeply values the growth of Rangatahi and has worked in voluntary groups for a little over a decade with this as her focus. She has a passion for seeing others thrive in their pursuit of Music and Performance. This work led her to win the ‘Cultural Ambassador Award’ for inspiring contributions to Rotorua’s unique Cultural and Arts scene. A couple of fun facts: She was the opening act for Stan Walker in his first tour in NZ and has performed a TedX talk (sub to Ted talk). Jae’l is of Ngati Rangitihi and Raukawa descent. We are excited to have her as part of the larger Arts whānau at GBHS.
Jada Murray (Sports Coordinator) [email protected] 09-817-8173 ext 233
Jada is proud to be the new sports coordinator at Green Bay High School and is looking forward to working alongside the Sport Department to support our rangitahi to stay fit and active. Jada moved to West Auckland recently after growing up and schooling in South Auckland and has been working with numerous schools and sports for a total of five years now.
"I've been playing representative/Premier netball since I was 15 years old. I was once fit and good enough to join the Beko Netball league before suffering an injury. Which I am grateful for, as it led me to discovering the role and definition of a sports coordinator. I am excited to make a change and challenge you all to some sports, regardless what is!"
