Congratulations to Seb Bramley and Sean Strother, Year 12 students who excelled in their Gateway placement and have both recently left school after being offered an Electrical Apprenticeship.
Amelie Connor (Year 12) had a very successful work placement and is off to study Early Childhood Education, saying “Gateway was a great experience. It helped me figure out that ECE is the career path for me. I have also been offered relief work as a result of my placement.”
Talor Bacarella (Year 12) has also completed the Automotive Start-Up Programme through MITO and is looking forward to starting an Automotive apprenticeship as soon as one becomes available. MITO is a business division of Te Pūkenga Work Based Learning Limited, offering apprenticeships and on-the-job training programmes.
