'Novice and Experts'

Congratulations to Green Bay High School's Fencing A team, who competed in the Fencing North Island Secondary Schools' Competition held at Te Pai Centre, Henderson, on Sunday.

Having secured 2nd place, this Year 12 team, comprising of🤺Alex Menzies,🤺Yuki Yamada, and🤺Matias Ureta, will now proceed to the NZ Secondary Schools' championships in August.

Congratulations also to Year 9 students Nathan Hawkins and Susie Yin, who also competed in teams made up of several different schools - this was the first competition for both of them! Both finished the day happy with their results and for their contributions to their teams.
