EPRO8 Semi-Finals

Communication, critical thinking and time mangement skills were put to the test, during the latest round of the EPRO8 Challenge.

This year, GBHS had two teams in two different semi-finals, who both worked really well and both just missed out on the finals by one place.

The theme for the events was movie scene reenactments. Team 1 built a 3m long mechanical shark 'Jaws', with Team 2 investing their time to make a replica of an 'Indiana Jones' railway track escape scene.

Everyone had a lot of fun, and while disappointed to not progress, are looking forward to next year's competition.

EPro8 is a problem-solving challenge where teams use basic electrical circuits, building materials and everyday objects to solve problems - with the goal of completing as many problems as possible in the time allowed.
