Woodlands Park Road to Titirangi Roundabout Closure.
No Pedestrian/Cycle Access through Scenic Drive: 7am-5pm Thursday 16 and Friday 17 May 2024
Kia ora community, Please note the pedestrian access will be unavailable through the site tomorrow and Friday. AT will be working on the culverts through the road, and these extend through the walkway.

• Before and after work hours, pedestrian and cycle access will be available.
• For these two days, please use Kohu Road as an alternative pedestrian and cycle route.
• Traffic management staff have also been letting people know as they have walked through the site.
  
  

  Changes to orginal timeframe for slip repairs:

  
  AT would also like to update the community about changes to the original timeframe for the slip repairs to Scenic Drive, between Woodlands Park Road and the Titirangi Roundabout. During works we have discovered an additional slip, between the two slips we have started works on.
  The initial plan was to finish within 4 months, aiming for completion by the end of June 2024.
  

• A third slip (Approx 76 meters long) was discovered during excavation.
• Design work is underway for this third slip while repairs continue on the other two.
• Completing repairs to the third slip will increase the timeframe, but this option is better than reclosing the road at a later date.
  
  

  Due to the additional slip the completion is now estimated to take an extra 4-7 weeks, with a new target finish date of end of July 2024, weather permitting.

  
  
  

  The school buses will continue to take the detour, and the shuttle bus will continue to serve Woodlands Park Road until the road is open.
