Making the Most of the Motu

Level 2 Geography students have enjoyed spending time at Tongariro National Park over the past three days, as part of their research collecting evidence for their 2.5 assessment - involving Desert Road field work, presentations at Whakapapa Information Centre and ski fields, Silica Springs walk (more field work), and taking in the sights of Huka Falls. The group ended their trip with a relaxing afternoon at the Tokaanu thermal pools taking in the breathtaking scenery - before making their way back to Auckland. They are expected to arrive at Green Bay High School this afternoon, approx 4pm.
