Effective, quick and critical thinking ends the debate!

On Monday evening Green Bay High School's Junior Debate team had their first Advised Topic debate (Māori Place Names).

Congratulations to Kate Turnbull, Aidan Wemyss and Emma Goldstone!

This was only their second debate at the Junior Opens, held at Lynfield College.

The team had one hour to prepare their debate (without devices!) before they debated against Mount Roskill Grammar. They swallowed their nerves, stuck to their script and took the win.
