Student Drivers

STUDENT DRIVERS:

We are very concerned about students on restricted licenses driving other students. This is a major risk and a breach of licensing laws. We ask that this stop immediately. If your child drives to school, please have a firm conversation with them regarding these risks. We will be reinforcing this message and following up with consequences for any student found to be breaking this rule.

STOTTHOLM ROAD PARKING: Senior students who drive vehicles to school must abide by the NZ Road Code and park responsibly. Please be respectful to local residents, and ensure you are legally parked. The school will NOT be contacting students during the school day to move their illegally parked vehicle if it is obstructing a driveway or restricting access.

The NZ Road Code clearly states: 🚙Look for any signs or road markings that may stop you from parking. 🚙Don’t park closer than 1 metre from any vehicle entrance. 🚙Don’t park closer than 6 metres from any pedestrian crossing or intersection
