02VOCATIONAL STUDIES - Team Building Day!

Level 2 Vocational Studies classes made the most of a memorial day, at local Motu Moana...and it looks like the Careers team (pictured here) were ready for action!

The focus of the trip is for students to gain work experience to help with their CV preparation, as part of their Unit Standard: Create a Personal Targeted CV (Level 2, 2 credits)

The trip also provides an awesome opportunity to develop whakawhānaungatanga at the start of the year, as students in both 02 Vocational classes work together as a team, supporting planned study and further activities throughout 2026.

Specialist instructors provide guidance for the following team-building activities: • Rock Climbing • Archery • Flintstone Cart Building • Volunteering (With Ecomatters)
