How can I get involved?
Student Leaders are visibly active promoting House events, being inclusive, approachable, helpful and informative - and have roles within House leadership, Student Council, Form Class reps, Cultural, Arts, Sports, Academic / Curriculum, Extracurricular / groups ... and much, much more!
Sudents Leaders must be: Prepared; Organised: know what is going on; Open-minded; Respectful; Able to listen; Consistent; Punctual; Kind and encouraging; Being involved: lead others from within; Inclusive; Helpful; Understanding (and) accepting of others; Great Communicators; Reliable: follow through with what you intend to do; Honest; Actively working to complete goals; Accountable; Demonstrate commitment; Positivity; Trustworthy; Approachable, Friendly; Empathetic; Reflective: having the ability to working through weaknesses and learning from mistakes.
Roles of a Student Leader - be Visible!
- Student Leaders are the face of our school at public/community events. Leaders will wear the school blazer, shirt and tie at such events, as well as during assembly weeks.
- Leaders are given a badge to represent their role. Each year Student Leaders are introduced to Year levels at Assemblies.
- Student Leaders attend an overnight Student Leader Camp (14 & 15 February, 2024)
- Each Leader has the responsibility to be respectful of their clear roles and responsibilities and make themselves known to other students.
- Promoting school events through form class activities, assemblies and via official school social media outlets.
