We understand that sometimes you might need support for whatever it might be you are going through. You will find links and contact details for services in our community listed below.

Please feel free to reach out to any of them and a trained professional will support you.

AOAKE TE RA: Aoake te Ra Phone: 0800 000 053 Aoake te Ra is a free service that provides support and manaaki to individuals and whānau who have lost someone to suicide.

GRIEF CENTRE: Grief Centre Phone: 0800 331 333 The Grief Centre has supported all individuals and whānau living through loss. They have a large, diverse team of counsellors, grief companions and facilitators who specialise in loss and grief support. The Grief Centre provides support through counselling, support groups, and bereavement support calls

LIFELINE: Lifeline Phone: 0800 543 354 Free text: 4357 Lifeline have highly trained staff and volunteers that are available to talk to 24/7.

YOUTHLINE: Youthline Phone: 0800 376 633 Free text: 234 Lifeline supports young people throughout Aotearoa aged between 12 - 24 years old. Youthline offers a helpline service, face/to-face counselling, youth mentoring and programmes.

YOUTH HEALTH HUB: Youth Health Hub Phone: 0800 562 023 Youth Health Hub is a free health service to young people (12 - 24). Students can access their drop-in clinic to see a nurse if they are needing support around physical health. Our team can get in touch with them as they also provide counselling, family support, mentoring with youth workers, and group programmes.

GUMBOOT FRIDAY: Gumboot Friday Has a directory of private counsellors. People under 25 can apply to receive free counselling from these counsellors through Gumboot Friday. This application can be done with the counsellor’s support.
