German Language 1st Prize

In term 3, German language students participated in this year's Auckland Goethe Society Speaking Competition.

Green Bay High School students excelled in all categories. Special mention goes to Year 12 students Hannah Lees, and Alice Hughes, who came first in their category!

Congratulations to the following GBHS students who were awarded certificates at the Auckland Goethe Society Speaking Competition prizegiving, held at the University of Auckland yesterday.

YEAR 9: Stella Raccuglia (Gold), Tyler Statham (Bronze), Charlotte Malone (Gold), Mila Rivas, (Gold), JD van Houten (Bronze), Henry Smith (Gold), Daniel Smithies (Gold), Lal Sanskriti (Gold), Grace Veenhof (Gold), Daniel McLaren (Gold), Jia Rui Han (Silver).

YEAR 10: Riley John (Gold), Helen Nguyen (Gold), Jessica Layton (Gold), Krisha Karippail (Gold).

YEAR 11: Maria Sawaya (Distinction), Angus Sparks (Distinction), Alice Nguyen (Distinction), Kayla Southey (Commended), Lizzy Ernst (3rd Prize).

YEAR 12: Hannah Lees (1st Prize), Alice Hughes (1st prize).

YEAR 13: Evie Twose (2nd Prize), Catherine Nguyen (Distinction), Yi Fei Han (3rd Prize), Lily Ward (Distinction).
