Te Whakarite Hāngī

He kai kei aku ringa - providing food by my own hands.

Year 10 students recently prepared vegetables, pre-packed meals and cooked a delicious hāngī as part of their assessment work. It was all hands on deck as the veggies were chopped, with meat and stuffing seasoned and placed into the kai cooker.

Mā pango, mā whero ka oti te mahi - through the red and the black the work will be done. Whakatauki referring to everyone working together to achieve a successful outcome.
