Deputy Principal Aaron Harris was proud to award GBHS's Year 12 Vocational Development students with their SVA membership badges this week!

All students have worked hard serving their community through the Vocational classes and in their own time on a range of community projects such as planting natives at La Rosa with Eco Matters, assisting Te Aratika students with their learning, and helping Year 0-4 students at neighbouring Green Bay School with their gardening activities.

Teachers and Career Advisors Amber Margan and Geoff Hall have witnessed the growth in the students throughout the year, saying students have become confident, respectful and engaged young people through their experiences.

We look forward to more volunteering opportunities with the Salvation Army and Kiwi Valley Farm next term.
