Shave For A Cure (2026)

GBHS students will be Shaving For A Cure as part of the annual Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand fundraising campaign.

All information will be on Year Level Google Classroom pages from Monday afternoon.

This event will be held in the school gym on Friday, 4 September 2026 (Week 7/Term 3).

GBHS Business students ‘Ccutz’ crew will be there to ensure every head leaves looking great (aka tidying up people’s shaved heads afterwards). Gold Coin donation to entry gym and watch the 'Great Shave of 2026'.

When you support Shave for a Cure, your money goes toward Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand's mission to care and vision to cure. Your fundraiser will help fuel life-saving research and deliver crucial care and support for people living with blood cancer in New Zealand. It could be the most important hairdo of your life.
