Green Bay High School's U60s are the 6B Rugby Champions for 2026!

The hard work and training put in over the year were on display last Saturday, during a very wet and muddy morning, as GBHS played against Macleans in the finals.

The match was a hard-fought game, and while GBHS had a commanding 17-3 lead at half-time, thanks to some brilliant offensive and territorial play, Macleans came out firing in the second half to make it a tight encounter.

A monumental defensive effort in the second half saw GBHS repel phase after phase from Macleans on our goal line.

Big tackles at big times win matches - final score: 17-16 to Green Bay High School!

Thank you to everyone who came to support the team, not just at the final but throughout the whole year.

It is an amazing feeling to bring home some rugby silverware!
