Good luck to all our winter sports teams in the finals or playing their last season game this weekend, enjoy your games and finish the season on a high!

Recent Sport events:

• 1st Xl Girls' and 2nd X1 Girls' Football - The girls' had a fantastic season, with both teams placing 3rd in their Division. Well done!

• Raglan Surf national Champs - Our biggest team on record with 9 students competing at the event in challenging conditions held at Manu Bay in Raglan. Students all competed really well and did themselves and the school proud. Thanks to Anna Jolly, Kyle Williams, and Leo Drake-Rogers for supporting this team.

• Road Race Auckland Champs - This event took place at Bruce Pulman Park on Tuesday. The team performed extremely well with solid runs in particular from Sofia Maulvurfs (8th Junior Girls) and Finn Birch (5th Junior Boys). Distances ranged from 3km - 6km depending on age group.

• Rugby League 9's - Continuing on with the growth of this sport in the school, GBHS sent our Girls' and Boys' 9s teams to the Northwest Rugby League 9s Gala day. Many students were playing 9s for the first time and it was great to see the power, passion and pride for the game and representing the school. Thanks to Aaron Harris and Nasi T'ua for coaching and developing our students.
