First Place Awards (x4)!

Eins, zwei, drei, vier .... 1, 2, 3, 4 First place awards!

The Auckland Goethe Society exam tests students on their German language proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking - with the speaking component completed at the University of Auckland. Students are examined by members of the Auckland Goethe Society committee.

Our students did exceptionally well, securing first place in the Year 11 (Krisha Karippail) category, and the Year 13 (Hannah Lees) category, as well as in the Advantaged Speaker Year 10 (Luka Guthrie) category, and in the Exchange Student Year 12 (Meeri Geerken) category!

The Goethe Society German Speaking competition prizegiving was held on Wednesday evening (26 September 2024) at the University of Auckland.
