German Theatre Weekend

Congratulations to Avisa Asghari (Yr 11) and Max McGregor (Yr 13) who have been awarded a Goethe-Institut scholarship to participate in a German Theatre Weekend in Auckland from 22–24 May 2026.

During the weekend, Avisa and Max will join a group of students from across New Zealand for a unique experience focused on German language, creativity, intercultural learning, and theatre.

Avisa and Max are looking forward to having their language skills put to the test during the immersive German language weekend. Both students were encouraged to apply for this amazing opportunity by their German language teacher, Nicole Polke, whose dedication to German language education continues to create meaningful pathways for students to engage with language and culture beyond the classroom.
