GBHS Students Shine as Speech Competition Judges

Earlier today (Friday, 22 August 2025) four Green Bay High School students represented our school at Blockhouse Bay Intermediate - one of our local feeder school's - as part of further strengthening our community links.

Dylan Tukia, James Cameron, Esther Owen, and Mackenzie Chisholm (all Year 11 students) were mature and impressive ambassadors for our school, serving on the judging panel for the speech competition.

Demonstrating confidence, fairness, and professionalism while developing their leadership skills.

They were impressed by the high standard of BBI's speeches and were proud to embody GBHS's vision: Te Angitū Ngātahi – Succeeding Together.

Events like these strengthen our relationships with local schools and help our community succeed together.
