Paid Union Meeting / Early Closing Tuesday 27 June.

On Tuesday 27th June Green Bay High School will be closing for instruction for all students at the earlier time of 12.15pm so that members of the PPTA can attend a paid union meeting. This information was sent to parents/caregivers earlier this week via email, SchoolBridge App, and our school's Facebook platform. Please note: school buses do not arrive at the earlier closing time and operate as per their normal schedule, please contact Deputy Principal Sandy Begg to make arrangements if your child requires supervision on Tuesday.

Industrial Action Update, Wednesday 21 June.

On Wednesday evening, we were made aware that the PPTA and the Ministry of Education have jointly agreed to go into arbitration. As a result, the planned strike action has now ceased and all students will be back in class each day. We are so happy with this progress and are looking forward to seeing all students back at school. Parents/caregivers were notified of this information via email, SchoolBridge App, and our school's Facebook platform.
