Bellyful West Auckland.

Year 12 student Kiran McIlroy made the most of his rostered day off this week, helping to cook for Bellyful West Auckland - dishing out a whopping record of 223 meals!

Bellyful is a charity that makes and delivers meals to families in our community who have new babies or young children who need support. Carefully packaged meals are stored in a large freezer, waiting to be delivered to whānau in need.

Volunteers gather at a community kitchen and prepare delicious meals such as macaroni cheese, beef bolognese sauce, beef lasagne, tomato and red lentil soup and a mild vegetarian curry.
