School Bus Routes

AT HOP cards are required for travel on buses (with the exception of the Huia bus, contracted to GBHS by Ritchies).

PUBLIC BUS ROUTES: Local fare-paying school bus routes and timetables are provided by AT (Auckland Transport). Phone: (09) 366 6400. Please CLICK HERE for more information, including PUBLIC bus timetables to GBHS, departing/arriving from the New Lynn Bus depot.

GBHS SCHOOL BUS ROUTES: Contracted GBHS School buses are operated by Ritchies. Phone: 09 833 6053. Please CLICK HERE for more information, including a list of buses that depart from, and arrive into, the GBHS school carpark.

CAR PARK SAFETY:

• Students must use the designated crossing, in the car park in front of the main reception building, when leaving the school grounds via the main front gate on Godley Road.
• Students MUST NOT walk through the car park to get to the designated bus areas.
• Students catching the 005, 006, 007 buses are to use the pathway in front of the Science and Art classes to get to the bottom bus bay.
• Students catching buses to Titirangi, Woodlands Park, Laingholm, and Huia are to access the buses from outside the front of main reception.
• Please note: The staff car park is NOT to be used as a thoroughfare between 8.30am - 3.30pm.
