Congratulations to Yr 10 students Zachary Goodall and Neko Beard-Bot, who both won medals representing Auckland in the U16 National Ice Hockey Championships!

Over the last few months, Neko has played for the Auckland Blue team, and Zachary for Auckland White, with the season culminating in the finals in Dunedin during the recent term break.

Both teams played to an incredibly high standard, beating regions from across the country, such as Dunedin, Queenstown and Canterbury.

Zachary came away with a Bronze medal 🥉 while Neko’s team came away with the trophy and 🥇 Gold medals!

Their achievements reflect the hard work, dedication and commitment they’ve put into their sport.

It’s fantastic to see their efforts rewarded, and we’re incredibly proud of what they’ve accomplished.
