Mixit Visits Green Bay High School:

Mixit is a creative community programme that brings together young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds, helping them build friendships, confidence and a sense of belonging through performing arts and creative activities.

Sharing pizza and stories, students learned about the exciting opportunities Mixit offers, including developing communication, teamwork, creativity and leadership skills – all completely free.

A special thank you to our students Disumi Nanayakkara Wasam Hapugalage (Yr 12) and Aisha Naushad (Yr 13), who shared their personal experiences with Mixit (pictured with Mixit Programme Leader, Izadine Ahmat Abdallah) and encouraged others to get involved. It was a fantastic lunchtime celebrating connection, creativity, and new opportunities.
