Surf Lifeguard Award

Congratulations to the latest group of Green Bay High School students who successfully achieved their Surf Lifeguard Award over the weekend.

Dylan Gear, Fran Ishida, Tsubaki Moore, Julian Murphy, Lucas Whitehouse, and Hayley Petro have put in many hours of training, study, and preparation to reach this milestone, successfully passing both the theory and practical assessments.

Achieving the Surf Lifeguard Award is a significant accomplishment and reflects their dedication, teamwork, and commitment to developing lifesaving skills.

The newly qualified lifeguards will join their fellow members at Piha Surf Life Saving Club from Labour Weekend, helping to keep the local community and thousands of visitors safe on our beaches throughout the summer.
